Sun is the planet associated with a person’s life force, vitality, ego, will, potential, spirit, & creativity. The Sun can also express itself within the chart as a parent, authority figure, leader, eldest child, entertainer, masculine force & hero. The Sun rules the heart, spine, eyes & head. The sun rules the sign of Leo.
Moon is the planet associated with a person’s feelings, home, emotions, nurturing, mother, and family. Moon may express itself in the chart as the primary caretaker, women, wife, or mother. The moon rules digestion, stomach, the breasts, the womb, lymphatic system, domestic matters, real estate, attachment, & cultural conditioning. The moon rules the sign Cancer.
Mercury is the planet associated with how a person communicates and processes information. It is the planet of business, news, information, negotiation, communication and advertising. Mercury can also express itself within the chart as siblings, neighbors, gossipers, visitors, teachers, students, & mailmen. Mercury also rules the lungs, shoulders, arms, brain, mental process, tongue, & hands. Mercury rules the signs Gemini & Virgo.
Venus is the planet associated with a person’s love nature, what they find beautiful, values, attraction, sexuality, partnership, and aesthetics. It is the planet of romance, love, peacefulness, tolerance, social activity, and balance. Venus may express itself in the chart as a seductress, artist, spouse, partner, lawyer, or judge.
