Digging Deeper into Painful Relationships
SHADOW WORK at the 7TH HOUSE
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. via Zoom. $20 per Person
“The psychological rule says that when an inner situation is not made conscious, it happens outside as fate. That is to say, when the individual remains undivided and does not become conscious of his inner opposite, the world must perforce act out the conflict and be torn into opposing halves.” — Carl G. Jung, Collected Works Vol. 9: AION: 126
Like diamonds, we have so many different facets — some are easier to identify than others. Some we project onto our partners and that is the beginning of every relationship. This works fine for a time, but a major reason we are drawn to a particular individual through love or hate is to see our selves in the mirror they are holding up for us to see although often to us it looks like it’s them. This is when the 7th House and our Venus really becomes instrumental to our ability to create and sustain relationships as we are now capable of recognizing and taking back the pieces of ourselves that they had to carry for us. Knowing about our Shadow is life changing.
This talk by Rebeca Eigen is to learn more about Carl Jung’s most valuable concept — what he called our Shadow — how to live with it and love it — Together!
